It’s a small world this summer at Woodlands Family Theme Park near Dartmouth where guests are thrilling to a raft of new arrivals at its popular zoo farm.

The baby animals were all born on the park, and one of the stars is proving to be an adorable fallow deer which is now winning the hearts of visiting families.

The fawn was born to one of the three female deer which have a sanctuary on the park – and the good news is that more are on the way.

But the fawn is not the only big small attraction at Woodlands, for the park has also welcomed two miniature Shetland foals christened Domino and Peaches.

There’s also a baby alpaca sharing the aww-factor, and a collection of cute baby goats which are keeping everyone amused with their giddy antics.

Set in 90 acres of Devon countryside, the family-run park is a wildlife wonderland for families with its huge and ever-growing stock of animal species.

In addition to the zoo farm, there is also a falconry centre which features over 40 birds of prey which regularly take part in breathtaking flying displays.

Among its many other attractions is a recently opened dinosaur park complete with prehistoric monsters which give a mighty roar as they are approached.

Proving a big hit with visitors, especially youngers, Dino Trek recreates the sights and sounds of a landscape more than 160 million years ago.

A member of the Best of British parks group, Woodlands’ accolades include the Alan Rogers “Best Family Campsite in Europe” award, and the “AA Campsite of the Year” award.
