Park Holidays UK says it is “proud and delighted” to have become the new owners of a popular East Sussex holiday park which leaves nothing wanting for seaside-loving families.
Pevensey Bay Holiday Park near Eastbourne – formerly Martello Beach Holiday Park – becomes the 28th park to join the group following its acquisition this month (August).
With private beach access and a launching jetty for boats and jet-skis, the park is a long-time favourite of couples and families who see the sea as a crucial component of holiday fun.
Now Park Holidays UK says Pevensey Bay is assured of staying at the top of its game – and has held out the prospect of more holiday homes being developed for new buyers.
The park presently provides 265 holiday homes, both privately owned and available to rent, all set in picturesque landscaped grounds amid the countryside of the Sussex Weald.
Owners and holiday guests are provided with a long line-up of leisure facilities including an indoor swimming pool, spa pool and sauna, and a fully-equipped gym and fitness centre.
Indoor and outdoor play areas keep youngsters on their toes, and there are also games areas for all ages – and a bar-restaurant and entertainments complex where professional shows are staged.
The grounds, which feature many sub-tropical plants and mature trees, are gated to help maintain a safe and exclusive environment in which everyone can feel at ease.
Park Holidays UK director Tony Clish said the Pevensey Bay’s previous owners had done a magnificent job in creating a park which provides a true sense of privilege:

Pevensey Bay joins the five other holiday parks owned by Park Holidays UK on the Sussex coast, and is located just not far from the group’s headquarters in Bexhill-on-Sea.
Other recent acquisitions by Park Holidays UK include, earlier this summer, Carlton Meres Country Park near Aldeburgh in Suffolk.
