Pitched at parks: the podcasts promoting profit
Holiday park owners can now tune in to fresh ideas and tips for marketing their businesses, courtesy of a new regular podcasting service.
The facility is being provided by Pitched, a holiday park website design and marketing agency which boasts some of the UK’s largest holiday parks among its clients.
The Cornwall-based business will use the podcasts to share its thoughts and opinions on industry news, as well as offering marketing ideas for parks of all types and sizes.
The first podcast package sees company director Andrew Hampton and web editor Mike Jarvis discuss the importance of good web design.
Their 30-minute talk highlights the need to identify primary objectives when creating a new site, from capturing data to generating customer bookings.
Andrew said the podcasts were an important way to engage with holiday parks, and will be a useful tool for both existing and prospective customers.
“Over the coming months we will cover a whole raft of different subjects, from how Brexit will impact on holiday parks through to use of social media, Google Analytics, remarketing, and just about everything in between.
“We also want holiday parks and campsites to use the podcasts to engage with us. If they have any questions or queries about their marketing or want to know how best to approach a web design project, we’d love them to get in touch.
“We can then discuss these issues in our podcasts, helping other parks along the way,” added Andrew whose business is in associate membership of BH&HPA.
Specialist services provided for parks by Pitched include web design, online booking software, digital marketing, social media, pay-per-click advertising, print media design, logo and branding.
