Why a caravan costing a cool £1m could be coming soon!

This is the £700,000 view from Britain’s most desirable holiday caravan, not far from Sandbanks in Dorset

AS A HOLIDAY CARAVAN hit the market this month with a £700,000 price tag, it’s predicted that Britain’s first £1 million caravan could soon be on its way.

The super-luxury £700k two-bedroom luxury holiday lodge now for sale sits alongside the beach near Christchurch in Dorset, not far from Sandbanks with its Monaco-like property values.

The bespoke lodge’s asking price is likely to My Holiday Caravan, UK’s largest independent static caravan sales website.

The sea and a blissful beach are just a few steps from Sandhills Holiday Park

And it predicts that other holiday homes on the site, Sandhills Holiday Park, will continue to create dream hideaways where little expense is spared.

Despite bearing no resemblance to a traditional caravan, modern luxury lodges are still technically classed as caravans because they sit on a galvanised chassis and have wheels.

“The price is certainly exceptional – but so to the Isle of Wight,” said My Holiday Caravan’s Paul Craven.

“The new owner will be taking possession of a real luxury paradise which was specified by its original buyer with top-end decor, furnishings, and mod-cons.”

“Sandhills is increasingly seeing custo the exclusive lifestyles with which this gorgeous area is associated.

“It’s a very clever move, because even if the final price does nudge a million pounds, it’s massively less than a similar spec house would cost in a less privileged position.”

The park can help buyers by putting them in to the diamond-studded door handles.

Holiday homes can also be equipped with the latest technology such as remote-controlled blinds, heating you can turn on before arrival, mood lighting and sophisticated TV and sound systems.

“It’s these levels of bespoke designs and tailored interiors driving sales up, and are bringing luxury lodges here ever closer to the £1 million mark,” said Paul.

The lounge doors open up to the Isle of Wight

The £700k holiday home lodge now up for grabs is on the prestigious front row of Sandhills, meaning owners are just a few steps from the picture-perfect sandy beach at Mudeford.

The gated park is the flagship of major leisure group Park Holidays UK and has been the subject of huge investment by the company in recent years.

People on tighter budgets can still own holiday caravans further back from the sea at Sandhills from £145,000 – but Paul says he is confident that beautiful lodge will soon find a  buyer:

“A highly-specified holiday home lodge in a beautiful location means the buyer can enjoy a lifestyle of the mega-rich without needing the bank balance to match!” he said.
