Yours for a year – a luxury lodge set to become a life-changer

The winners will receive the keys to a luxury lodge at Park Leisure, and it’s theirs for a year

ONE OF BRITAIN’S most prestigious holiday park groups, Park Leisure, is offering the chance to win a full year’s use of a luxury holiday lodge – without a penny to pay for the privilege.

The competition victors will be handed the keys to one of Park Leisure’s top-end lodges with the with the invitation to “treat it just as your own” for the next 12 months.

The company hopes that the winning couple or family will discover the joys of holiday lodge ownership and the life-changing experiences it can bring.

Based on how much the lodge would typically cost to rent, Park Leisure puts the value of the prize at up to £60,000 – and the winners won’t have to pay any site fees or utility bills.

They will, though, be given a payment card loaded with £3,000 of credit to spend as they choose on the park, including in its restaurant and leisure club.

Chief Marketing Officer at the group, Brad May, said the prize is likely to be a real eye-opener for anyone who has previously taken only short holiday breaks on its parks:

“Ownership is a real game-changer as you have the ability to make regular escapes right throughout the year, even just on a whim if the fancy suddenly takes you!” he said.

“You also get to appreciate the countryside in all its changing colours over the four seasons, and to enjoy the quieter times of year when things are taken at a slower pace.

The lifestyle on offer will be an eye-opener for the lucky family, says Park Leisure

“Modern lodges have super-efficient central heating and high levels of insulation, so everyone stays snug whatever the weather is up to outside.

“But I think among the biggest benefits of ownership is that there’s no need to plan ahead for a visit – you simply turn up and everything you need is there waiting for you.

“Lodges also provide a huge amount of living space which opens the door to the possibility of owners inviting their extended family or friends to share a holiday.

“And unlike a holiday cottage, breaks won’t have to be spent cutting the grass or attending to the type of maintenance headaches which come with most domestic properties!” said Brad.

Also valued, he says, is the community atmosphere which hallmarks park life with many owners creating new friendships and the enjoying the opportunity to socialise with others.

The year-long lodge experience wating to be won will be based on a new current model with a stylish integrated kitchen and interior-designed living areas with sumptuous furnishings.

Free high-speed wi-fi will be provided for the ownership period, a valuable plus-point for anyone wishing to work from home in relaxed and stress-free surroundings.

Park Leisure’s competition draw is free for anyone to enter, and the winner will be selected and announced in March 2026 in time for the start of the new holiday season.
