Fresh air holidays a Sweet treat on Devon park

Stylish continental-style

Stylish continental-style glamping pods provide a memorable holiday experience at Ladram Bay in Devon

All the fun of camping without pegs, poles or the palaver of erecting a tent are now on offer at Ladram Bay Holiday Park near Budleigh Salterton in Devon.

The family-run park, which has its own private beach, has this month unveiled its new CoCo Sweet glamping pods which are available this summer for short breaks and longer stays.

Designed and built in France with style-conscious couples and families in mind, the chic retreats sleep up to four people in cosy continental comfort.

Each CoCo Sweet comes complete with lighting, a table-top fridge, electrical sockets, living and dining areas, and a large exterior canopy for dining al-fresco.

The master bedroom features a double bed, and two convertible single beds are provided in a separate area of the pod along with a table and stools.

Modern showers and an amenity block are just a short stroll away, as are the many attractions which have made Ladram Bay a favourite of Devon visitors for over 70 years.

They include a new swimming pool complex, restaurant, a beach-side shack where watersports equipment can be hired, and first-class day and evening entertainment.

The park’s high standards have been recognised with a raft of awards, including a top five-star accolade from VisitEngland and the 2016 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.

Director Zoe House said that she and her park-owning family were thrilled to be able to offer an exciting alternative way to enjoy stays at Ladram Bay:

“Camping is a marvellous way to come closer to the great outdoors, but not everyone welcomes being faced with putting up a tent when they arrive on holiday,” she said.

“These wonderful pods provide the perfect solution, and are also light and airy which means guests can enjoy a great sense of freedom during their stay.

“Everyone here also agrees that they look absolutely fantastic, so all-in-all they offer just the type of memorable experience which people want from a seaside holiday,” added Zoe.

The pods join a strong line-up of other holiday accommodation to rent at Ladram Bay including delightful caravan holiday homes and luxury lodges as well as apartments.

There are also pitches with picture-postcard views for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents – and the opportunity to own a holiday home from under £17,000.

Stays in the park’s pods this summer cost from £175.00 for three nights. There is more information about Ladram Bay Holiday Park and the pods at www.ladrambay.co.uk
