PARK HOLIDAYS UK says it is “proud and delighted” to have become the new owners of a popular north Devon holiday park set in 500 acres of countryside near Coombe Martin.
The acquisition of Stowford Farm Meadows Holiday Park in Berry Down brings to five the number of holiday parks now owned by Park Holidays UK in Devon.
Located near some of the county’s most stunning beaches, including Ilfracombe just a 15-minute drive away, it has also become the 54th holiday park to join the award-winning group.
Previously family owned, Stowford Farm Meadows first started welcoming camping guests almost 50 years ago – and has since become one of north Devon’s most popular parks.
It provides holiday caravans and cottages to rent, opportunities for holiday home ownership, and touring pitches for motorhomes, touring caravans and tents.
The long list of guest facilities includes an indoor pool popular with both adults and children, a nature trail, golf facilities, family bar and café, plus an adventure playground.
There’s even a horse riding centre with well-schooled horses and ponies available for adults and children to enjoy riding lessons and trekking around the extensive grounds.
