MP salutes “dynamic” Devon holiday park in tourism week

EAST DEVON MP Simon Jupp has paid tribute to an “enterprising and dynamic” holiday park in his constituency at the start of English Tourism Week.

The annual event, which runs until 31 May, shines a spotlight on England’s to the UK economy.

Ladram Bay, said Mr Jupp, was playing a major part along with other to bounce back after an extremely challenging year.

“Like so many other local enterprises, Ladram Bay has gone above and beyond over the past twelve months in helping underpin East Devon’s reputation as a high quality holiday destination.

“I wish them every success over the coming visitourism businesses in the coming months,” he added.

The Budleigh Saltertor and family member Zoe House thanked the MP for his good wishes:

“Mr Jupp has consistently shown that he understands very well the importance of our visito him for his support,” she said.

“It’s great news not just for us and our team, but also for the many other businesses in this beautiful region which rely on the spending of holiday guests.”

Ladram Bay, she said, was still celebrating its recent successes in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards and the Devon Tourism Awards.

Judges in both events praised the extensive safety measures put in place to protect the natural world.

Ladram Bay has its own private beach and a host of activities, attractions, and entertainment – plus  holiday caravans and lodges touring guests.
