Park Holidays makes a splash at national swimming pool awards

Relaxed and stylish surroundings took the trophy for Rye Harbour Coastal and Country Park

TWO SWIMMING POOLS at holiday parks in Sussex owned by Park Holidays UK have been showered in glory at the 2025 British Pool and Hot Tub Awards.

The pools at Chichester Lakeside Holiday Park and Rye Harbour Coastal and Country Park both scooped category accolades from judges in February’s glittering award finals.

The prestigious honours are hosted annually by the Swimming Pool and Allied Trade Association (SPATA) and the British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association (BISHTA).

They celebrate excellence among pool businesses which adhere to rigorous industry standards of safety and construction, and provide an outstanding experience for users.

The awards were received by Dorset-based pool designers Cresta Leisure which works closely with Park Holidays UK in developing pool facilities at many of the group’s parks.

The indoor pools at Rye Harbour and splash zone at Chichester Lakeside were newly opened last year, and were considered by judges to be among the very best in their class.

Brad May, Chief Marketing Officer at Park Holidays UK, said that the company invests substantially to ensure its pool facilities meet world-class standards of excellence:

“Many customers will often name our swimming pools and leisure complexes as being among the highlights of their stays with us, and praise the quality standards we achieve.

“We believe such facilities are important as they help allow families to enjoy quality time together in relaxed, well-designed and pleasurable surroundings.

“Our pools not only provide the benefits of exercise for all ages, but often also build in fun elements – such as splash areas and slides – which appeal especially to toddlers and children.

“Park Holidays makes no extra charges to guests for use of its pools, and of course the facilities are also just a short stroll from where they are staying.

“We are delighted to see two of our newest pools highlighted in these awards, and will strive to ensure that our leisure facilities continue to meet the highest standards,” said Brad.
