HARPA leaders named in national Trade Association Powerlist

Debbie Walker and Katherine Squires are helping to lead the UK’s trade association sector

TWO SENIOR LEADERS from the Holiday and Residential Parks Association (HARPA) have been named in the Women in Trade Associations Powerlist 2026.

Debbie Walker, Director General, and Katherine Squires, Director of Policy and Public Affairs, have both been recognised among the most influential women working in UK trade associations.

Now in its fourth year, the annual Powerlist is compiled by the Trade Association Forum (TAF) and is drawn up in conjunction with the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), and the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). It is published to coincide with International Women’s Day.

The list celebrates women who are helping to lead and shape the UK’s trade association sector, while highlighting the role associations play in supporting businesses and sharing their voice with government.

Debbie Walker said: “TAF does a fantastic job of bringing together more than 180 trade associations and sharing best practice in how we work with government and stakeholders. I’m proud that Katherine and I are included in this year’s Powerlist.

“Recognition like this also reflects the dedication and hard work of the team behind us. Their passion for the parks industry and commitment to supporting our members is vital to the work we do.”

Debbie and Katherine are part of the leadership team at HARPA’s headquarters in Gloucester. The association represents around 3,000 holiday and residential parks across the UK.
