PAKEFIELD HOLIDAY PARK near Lowestoft has beaten the deadline for the opening its new leisure complex in time for the start of the main 2026 holiday season.
Now guests and holiday home owners are being welcomed back with a new activity, entertainments and restaurant facility at the heart of the popular north Suffolk park.
The £6 million development includes a modern heated indoor pool with a fun splash zone, and a relaxing family bar-restaurant with a traditional pizza oven.
There’s also a new children’s play park for youngsters and amusement arcade featuring the latest electronic games technology in addition to the existing climbing wall.
The cliff-top park, just a short stroll from some of the area’s finest sandy beaches, is one of five top-rated parks owned by Park Holidays UK in Suffolk.
The group’s Chief Marketing Officer, Brad May, said everyone at Pakefield Holiday Park was delighted that the major project had been completed before the Easter break:
